David brings an unusual combination of clinical experience and commercial management to ParaQuad. He has a wealth of experience working in the medical device and healthcare sectors. Most recently he has been working with organisations as a senior adviser, developing strategic plans and mentoring senior leaders and managers.
David’s healthcare sector experience also includes Director roles in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong with broad market experience in the US and Europe.
David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and qualified for his MBA in 2011. He was appointed to the ParaQuad Board in 2015 and took over as Chief Executive Officer in April 2019.
David says “I have worked alongside and admired ParaQuad and BrightSky for over a decade. When the opportunity came to join the board I jumped at it and to now be its CEO is a great honour and privilege. The level of personal support ParaQuad provides to its core customers – people living with various forms of paralysis – is both remarkable and life affirming. At the same time BrightSky’s role in providing choice and access for people to vital medical products right across Australia complements ParaQuad’s personal services”.
